Brett D. Reese serves as Managing Principal of Rebound Partners, LLC, an investment and management service company that works with emerging, growth and financially-challenged companies in a variety of  sectors–primarily in the verticals of hospitality, real estate, manufacturing, financial services and community. Relating to community, Rebound gives back its time, talent, treasures and thinking where its businesses are located and its employees live and work.

Mr. Reese is a co-founder and serves on the Advisory Board of Rebound Hospitality. Brett is part owner of the Archer House River Inn in Northfield, the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah, IA, the Des Lux Hotel in Des Moines, IA, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Decorah, IA and the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Northfield, MN. Brett has more than two decades of hospitality business experience dating back to the purchase of his first restaurant in 1982 (Rueb ‘N’ Stein) and his first hotel in 1997 (Archer House).

Mr. Reese also is involved in several Real Estate partnerships and corporations, and is co-founder of the Northfield Real Estate Fund, Northfield Real Estate Management Company, and Bluewater Commercial Real Estate. Reese also serves as Chairman of the Board and part owner of Northfield Automation Systems, Inc. and Advanced Wireless Communications. Reese has served on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Northfield since 1997, where he currently serves as the Chairman and is a member of the Heywood Bancshares Board.

He has co-founded and served on the Board of several organizations, including 3C Capital Partners, a Northfield angel investment group, the Northfield Downtown Development Corporation, a group promoting and advancing Downtown Northfield and the Northfield Enterprise Center, a City of Northfield sponsored entity advancing economic development.

He has served many nonprofit organizations and is currently on the Northfield Roundtable group.  Reese is a former Board member of the Northfield Chamber of Commerce, Northfield Hospital, Northfield Rotary Club and Prairie Creek Community School among others. He attends Canvas Church and is a leader in Marketplace Ministries.

Reese graduated in 1977 from Northfield High School and in 1981 from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting and Political Science. Upon passing the CPA exam and graduating from college, he worked as an auditor with Grant Thornton. He makes his home in Northfield, MN and has two daughters Meredith and Amelia.
